I’m whiney . . .
January 29, 2008I whine a lot. One of my complaints in life is that I don’t have friends. And this week God has really slapped me upside the head in reminding me of the wonderful people he’s placed in my life that are more than I ever deserve in a friendship!
My sisters are naturally my closest friends but I’ve also been blessed with so many different personalities and characters in my life, outside of family. I went to lunch today with a God-given friend of mine, one that I am so blessed to know. Also a friend that always challenges me to be better, spiritually, in my personal life and in all aspects seek God. I need that and I hope I contribute, as well, to our friendship in some way. I just pray God blesses her and allows her days to be full of what her heart desires! And on top of all of that she was willing to come short notice, pick my sorry car-less self up and my two toddlers and we went out to eat. Its nice to get out of the house and feel ‘normal’ every once in awhile. Kids did so good. God has truly blessed my life. Thank you, Jesus!
So, on that note I’m going to go. I’m sure I’ll write more nonsense later.
God Bless!
That’s a good reminder. I feel that way sometimes too. I’m very glad to have wonderful sisters who are my very best friends.
It always amazes me to see people who express gratitude. That’s big… to realize what you have. Nice read.
Hey! How are things going up there? Sorry you didn’t get snow :0( It’s nearly gone here, if that make you feel better. Mushy rain today. So how ’bout the weekend after this one? Love your blogs…I agree, stayin home with the babes can be one of the hardest things.Ever. But also the bestest thing. Ever. Isn’t it weird that way? Love ya!
Hi I’m Heather! Wayyyyy over here in Florida. Just browsing around and saw your blog. Love your honesty! Your hysterical! I think God lets us slap ourselves in the head after we do stupid stuff. An it’s a woman’s job to whine… I think. Well, maybe not but we sure are good at that with no effort right?!
I just wanted to drop by and say thanks for posting in my blog. :o)
I do not have any friends in my town either and know how hard that can be. I am glad you have your sister. :o)
